Objects of Desire is a collection of small experimental works that Howng created while planning her exhibition, A Bag Of Rocks For A Bag of Rice at the Asian Arts and Culture Center at Towson University. They serve to symbolize the objectification and commodification of landscape and the human desire to control nature in gardening and architectural landscape practices.
